ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL AND GOVERNANCE (ESG) POLICY

Effective Date: October 1st, 2024

Introduction

Rovensa’s ESG Policy must be owned by all employees of the company, regardless of their role or workplace. It is not simply a formal document, but a living framework guiding our daily actions.

Individual ownership of the ESG Policy is fundamental to ensuring its effectiveness, relevance, and integration into everyday operations.

What is Sustainability and Why is it Important?

Rovensa strives to feed the planet within its planetary boundaries so that current and future generations have access to healthy food without compromising environmental balance.

We believe our business plays a strategic role in contributing to sustainable agriculture and ensuring a healthy global food supply.

As providers of agricultural products, we recognize our responsibility to operate in a way that contributes to environmental sustainability and societal wellbeing.

This ESG Policy has been developed through an internal stakeholder process and aligns with the United Nations Global Compact and Sustainable Development Goals, including:

  • SDG 2 – Zero Hunger
  • SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production
  • SDG 13 – Climate Action
  • SDG 15 – Life on Land

Rovensa follows the precautionary principle, ensuring preventive measures are taken to protect the environment even when full scientific certainty is not available.
