Health and Safety of all those in our premises and in the communities where we operate is part of Rovensa’s values.
2. Rovensa H&S Policy
Health and Safety of all those in our premises and in the communities where we operate is part of Rovensa’s values.
While everyone is responsible for H&S at Rovensa, Managers must lead by example and be accountable in creating a safe and healthy work environment.
To accomplish this, priority must be given to:
- Preventing all accidents, occupational diseases, and property damage.
- Implementing best-in-class safety procedures and ensuring their compliance.
- Complying with international and local legislation at all sites.
- Providing appropriate H&S training to all employees to enhance their technical skills, risk awareness, and safe behaviours.
- Developing a culture encouraging employees to take personal responsibility for Health and Safety.
- Ensuring continuous improvement supported by visible leadership.
- Setting and monitoring H&S KPIs to identify improvements and priorities.
- Establishing H&S objectives, targets, and regularly monitoring performance.
- Being recognised as a safe workplace contributing to employee engagement and satisfaction.

Scope

It is Rovensa’s goal to achieve ZERO HARM by creating a sustained H&S culture and integrating safety as a core value.
Rovensa Vision
To be a reference for Health and Safety with a ZERO-HARM culture, continuously reducing incident rates to levels comparable to industry leaders.
Policy Review and Update
This policy will be reviewed when necessary to ensure it remains current and effective.
Any change must be approved by the Corporate H&S Team and the Executive Committee.
The Group reserves the right to change or revoke this policy at any time.
Policy Disclosure
This policy will be communicated and made available to all employees via the intranet.

Risk prevention and promoting safe working conditions are essential for operational sustainability and employee wellbeing.
The key strategic objectives include:

4. H&S Roles and Responsibilities
Health and Safety responsibilities are defined at every organizational level.
This ensures proper implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- CEO, Executive Committee and Board: overall responsibility for H&S performance.
- Managers: responsible for implementing and monitoring the H&S policy.
- Employees: responsible for complying with safety procedures, reporting incidents, and promoting safety.
Rovensa has implemented a governance model with defined committees ensuring two-way communication, allowing strategic direction and operational feedback.
5. H&S Management System
Rovensa has defined a structured H&S management system to ensure continuous safety improvement.
This includes:
- Defined H&S requirements aligned with best practices.
- Life-saving rules for high-risk activities.
- Preventive safety observation programs.
- Monitoring and reporting H&S indicators monthly.
Rovensa ensures all employees are competent in their assigned tasks, including adapting to new risks, legislative changes, and operational changes.
